Friend of God (Part 5) Noah, The Curse
Scripture: Genesis 5:29; 6:8-10; Heb. 11:7 (NKJV).
Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.” Gen 9:1, 20-22 1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 20 And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. 21 Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. Gen 9:24-25 24 So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. 25 Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.”
